welcome, it's great to meet you here

Hi, my name is

Marissa

wedding photographer

One of my favourite things is getting together with friends and family and looking at old photos. There is always a story behind each one. It's during those moments of sharing a memory that my love for photography grows.

My passion for photography started as a teen.

I was born and raised in North Vancouver surrounded by the city skyline, mountains, and ocean. Truly, a beautiful place to grow up.

Kelowna has always been my second home. It's the place my family and I frequented during the summer. It is where some of my most cherished memories were made. In 2013 I made the move to the Okanagan permanently.

In 2014 I started to capture photos of friends, and then it was friends-of-friends, and soon enough I had people from all walks of life wanting to have their most special moments captured by me.

My goal with photography is to preserve the moment, so when you share these (one day) old photos with your loved ones, they get to relive that memory too.

Thank you for taking the time to read about me, I'm looking forward to getting to know you too and capturing what means the most.
Inclusivity Statement

I will always bring openness and inclusivity to all my sessions so you can feel confident and comfortable being your authentic self. I welcome those that identify as LGBTQIA2S+ and beyond. A safe space, always.

Kind Words From

Jakayla & Cole

“The very wonderful Marissa has been photographing me from the beginning of her photography journey, she has been nothing short of talented from day 1. Being someone who is so awkward in front of a camera, who never quite knows what to do with my limbs or face… she has always found ways to make me feel comfortable, and my most beautiful self. With her unique skillset she has always turned my favourite memories into beautiful, meaningful art that I get to keep forever...”
